Hotel Missoni, the new lifestyle brand from the Rezidor Hotel Group, opened its doors in Edinburgh today (8/6/09). It is a particularly difficult time to launch a new brand as the corporate market cuts budgets and reduces all non-essential travel. Even though room rates include free wifi, a newspaper, free local calls, 2 items of laundry, an iPod connection, a healthy mini-bar and premium movies, it is a hard sell in the current environment.
