• Frommer's readers voted Ireland their Favourite Destination for 2011
• Readers of The Oriental Morning Post and travel specialists across China voted Ireland the Most Popular Destination 2010
• France's best-selling travel guide, Le Guide Du Routard says Ireland's restaurants are as good if not better than anywhere in the world in terms of food, value and service
• Irish festivals scooped 3 of the 12 awards at The European Festival Awards in Groningen. Temple House won the Best New European Festival, Electric Picnic won the Best Medium-Sized European Festival and Oxygen won the Best European Festival Line-Up
