I suggested some weeks ago that the newly introduced €10 'Air Travel Tax' should be abolished. I am glad I'm not the only one who thinks this. In his column in The Irish Times today, Ciaran Hancock says Michael O'Leary called the tax 'tourist suicide'. Ciaran adds 'He has a point. It's surely madness to add another tax to one of the few remaining industries on this island whose future is largely within our own control'. I couldn't agree more!
