The future for Irish tourism has got to be different from the past. The people of Kenmare are more aware of this than others. Francis Brennan showed me the plans for The Centre of Contemporary Irish Culture. This unique project is an extremely visionary and imaginative concept which deserves every support. If funding is approved under the Tourism Product Development Plan 2007-2013, it would position Kenmare as an iconic cultural tourism destination. Undoubtedly, the 'Innovation of the Year 2009'....!
